TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
All teams will play their first games in a group system, most likely to be groups of three to four teams, where each team will play each other with the top team of each group advancing to the next stage of the Rale Rasic Joeys Mini World Cup and the second, third or fourth-placed teams advancing to a different level of the cup structure. In the end, there will be finals and playoffs in the Inverell Joeys Mini World Cup, the Inverell Shield, the Inverell Plate and the Inverell Challenge Cup. This will guarantee all competing teams a final or a playoff for third and fourth place,
All game durations are 50 minutes, with 5 minutes for the halftime break and 5 minutes to clear the field for the next game.
The only exception is the U8s and Under 10s. These are played as a non-competitive tournament where, on the first day, teams are playing in different groups as drawn by the tournament management. On the second day, we will play all winning teams against each other and all losing teams against each other, and we will split them up again on the third day to ensure a reasonably even tournament with a good and fair challenge suiting the playing abilities of these players. Game duration will be 25 minutes for each game, allowing 5 minutes to clear the field for the next game for the Under 10s and 20 minutes for each game, allowing 5 minutes to clear the field for the next game for the Under 8s.
